A multi-level festival needed one production center.
MES Event Group served as production partner for TED FEST 2026, a $300,000 cultural and entertainment festival operating across The Majestic, The Reserve, and an adjacent outdoor activation footprint.
The experience brought more than 1,000 attendees into an environment combining live entertainment, custom scenic storefronts, merchandise, art, food, VIP hospitality, and guest activations.
The Challenge
The historic venue created a demanding operating environment with programming spread across multiple floors, performance areas, green rooms, VIP spaces, guest activations, and an outdoor food court. As live execution began, the talent and show-operation needs exceeded the original staffing structure.
The MES Response
MES expanded beyond its original production responsibilities and centralized artist operations, show calling, run-of-show execution, security communication, backstage logistics, venue coordination, and broader event production.
- Master production timeline
- Run of show + show calling
- Artist arrivals + movement
- Green rooms + backstage access
- Security coordination
- Stage, LED + lighting partners
- Scenic + storefront builds
- Vendor + food court operations
- VIP + guest flow
- Staff deployment
- Load-in + troubleshooting
- Strike through 1:00 AM
The Result
MES supported five live performers and special guests while keeping programming moving across the venue. By absorbing multiple leadership functions onsite, the team resolved gaps between production workstreams, kept the full program on schedule, maintained communication, and delivered the experience through final load-out.
Special guests included Cori Broadus, Lamar Odom, and personalities associated with Foos Gone Wild. Guest references do not imply endorsement of MES Event Group.
