A classic gala brief, designed with a sharper point of view.
For the West Valley Regional Chamber’s 2026 awards gala, MES created the event design and visual direction for an Old Hollywood-inspired evening at The Wigwam. The goal was glamour with restraint: dramatic enough to transform the room, but modern enough to avoid feeling like a themed replica.
The Design Direction
A disciplined palette of black, white, and deep red unified the experience from arrival to the awards stage. Layered red draping, structured floral moments, candlelight, black linens, crisp white napkins, and selective metallic accents gave the ballroom contrast, rhythm, and depth.

The Visual Experience
The stage established the room’s focal point through saturated draping, a chandelier, and concentrated floral styling. Across 53 guest tables, varied centerpiece profiles created dimension without making the ballroom feel repetitive. A red-carpet arrival and hedge-wall photo environment extended the visual language beyond the ballroom and gave guests a defined place to enter the story.
